(Edit 16/02/11) ForestHowler submitted five OC-Training art-works after commenting allotments. So who want to give her a genuine, thoughtful feedback about Ignazio and her artistic skills? She could make a same for you. You could announce your in depth comment and ask her for one here:

Wonderful job from everyone who submitted task sixth. While waiting for some latecommers, these who have already submitted five previous tasks are going to give and receive in-depth feedback. There is allotments list in this journal entry and some useful links to stuff that could help you write thoughtful comments. Of course anyone can make extra comment and our watchers are also welcome to share their thought with participating authors.

Helpful tips

There is no required length for these critiques, and while they do not have to be overly detailed, it is good to keep comments thoughtful and in-depth. Some useful tips and inspiring reading before you actually start:

#01 Constructively Comment in 5 Quick Steps!ProjectComment is a Group of many projects centred around comments, but, more importantly, constructive comments. Every week, one admin from ProjectComment will write an informative article on commenting that will hopefully be useful to you! Please help support us by :+fav: the article and contribute your thoughts and opinions on the matter.
This article will list five easy ways to make your comment constructive. What many people do not realise is that a constructive comment does not have to be as long or as indepth as a critique, and that you don't need to be an awesome commenter or an awesome artist to write a constructive comment. You probably won't have to spend more than 5-10 minutes writing a constructive comment, and it could still be helpful to the artist.
Here are the steps that you can take to make your comment more constructive:
State the things you like about the piece.
Try and state one thi
How to Comment - Pointers and ExamplesThis version has been updated:

This guide was written by ProjectComment as a Group, by deviants for deviants. Not only have we sought suggestions from our volunteers, but we have examples of constructive comments from the rest of the community as well, making this a true, collective effort. After reading this, it will be hard to not write a constructive comment.
Each category of art has its own set of pointers in alphabetical order, suggested by our volunteers. If you have any more to contribute, spot a mistake, etc. please feel free to contact us! :D

A Guide on (Offending) CommentsThis guide will, hopefully, tackle the issues of how to show the disadvantages of a piece to an artist without turning them down, how to handle comments received, no matter how good or bad they are, and how to reply to the comments received, particularly if you don’t understand or you are bothered, which may lead to unnecessary drama.
How to show the disadvantages of a piece without turning the artist down (and making them feel worthless)
Tone
We all have our own perspectives, and so we all interpret things and, most importantly, comments differently. If Person A wrote a comment and thought they sounded quite calm, Person B could take the comment and perceive it as Person A attacking them.
One way to show the disadvantages of a piece is by reducing the accusing and insulting tone by introducing words such as "maybe/might", "perhaps", "I think", "could be", which softens the overall tone and make you sound less blunt and "in your face".
Additionally, putting

candle-earth's comment may be an example how may you comment on an OC (it is not necessary to aim for such length!)

After receiving critique you may feel sad or offended. It is because we love our OCs. Take a day or two, calm down before you answer and keep this reply up to only five words. Focusing on “defending” our art or OC is waste of energy that should be utilize what we learnt and actual drawing. There are tasks eight, ninth and tenth to show off!

We're looking forward to see
